Hair today...

I've finally booked in to have my hair trimmed. It's nearly back to the length it was when I had it all chopped off.

And there's a new photo of Posh's new haircut looking stunning... and I am in two minds.

Do I keep growing it, or do I go for the chop again?

In other news, Maud is being a pain. Nick's away, and she's just been driving me crazy. At the moment I am telling her off alternately for eating Agnes' food, or scrabbling at the still locked cat flap.

Last night she was lying on the jigsaw and then trying to eat any loose pieces that came her way.

Now to work, I have so much to get done today.

Improvement needed

Ok...so I love to cook. I haven't always but the Boy inspired me along with a bit of invention being the mother of necessity and all that.
I have never baked.
Yesterday I attempted Toll house cookies with oatmeal,choc chips and nuts and today I made my first cupcakes...although technically they are fairy cakes but there is a whole big debate on the difference...who knew baking was soooo controversial?. I love the cookies but they were a bit too sweet for the Boy.So I made plain cupcakes for him although I could not resist sprinkling a few nuts on top of some of them. I think I may have put too much of the mixture in some of the paper case because they did do a rather dashing impression of Mount Vesuvius. However, I looked on a bunch of sites online and everyone disagreed about how full to fill the cases.
I wanted to start out simply and master the basics and then I can go crazy with toppings and fillings...although I don't want to spoil all my hard work exercising and cutting down on the sugar so i will have to make the Boy take SOME of them into work.

Frazzled

I've barely stopped today, and yet I've got nothing on my task list done.

My legs are aching, so I think I'll have to skip the gym.

I'm not going to be able to go on Thursday as Sis needs help with the kids after chemo tomorrow will knock her out.

I can't go on Friday as I'll be at a wedding.

I'm thinking I'll go tomorrow, but probably won't as I'm working from home and have a tendency to work longer hours!

I might have to do a few early and dark mornings and run from home, but I probably won't as I'll be too tired.

Why is it that just when I stiffen my resolve to get back on track, I get thrown numerous curve balls?
